Public confidence in the NSW justice system

The Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR) has released the findings of its survey of public confidence in the criminal justice system. Although the results are in some respects positive, a majority of the population still believe the system is too slow and sentences are unduly lenient. Perhaps more interesting is that confidence varies depending on which media outlet was the respondent's principal source of news. Learn more here.
