Compiling a First World War honour roll

11/03/2015

The Bar Association has begun a project to compile and prepare an honour roll for barristers and judges who had been barristers, and who served overseas in the First World War. The roll, together with individual profiles, will be added to the history collection on the Bar Association's web site. The project is being compiled by Tony Cunneen, an occasional contributor of war-related legal history articles in Bar News.

Thus far, Tony has compiled a list of 77 names, but he would be delighted to receive suggestions from members of the bar. For this reason, InBrief publishes the following list. Anyone with any stories or comments concerning these men is invited to contact the author, Tony Cunneen at acunneen@bigpond.net.au or 0409089696
