ABA Conference July 2015 - early bird offer extended

The 2015 ABA conference will be held in Washington DC and Boston in July 2015. The early bird offer has been extended until the end of March.

The Washington DC conference, ‘Trends in American Justice: Impacts for Australia’, will take place from 3 to 5 July. Highlights of the preliminary conference include the conference tour of the US Capitol, National Archives and Library of Congress and the Independence Day rooftop party on 4 July.

The Boston conference, ‘Survival of the fittest: Challenges for advocates in the 21st Century’ will take place from 7 to 10 July. Highlights of the primary conference include the keynote address by the Right Honorable Beverley McLachlin PC, Chief Justice of Canada and Chief Judge Diane Wood, Seventh Circuit, United States Court of Appeal. On 9 July, the Hon T F Bathurst AC, Chief Justice of NSW, "iAdvocate vs Rumpole: Who will survive? An analysis of advocates' ongoing relevance in the age of technology"

The Boston conference also offers tours of the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse and the John Adams Courthouse. Social highlights include the welcome reception at the John F Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum and tours of the Freedom Trail, Harvard Law School and the Gala Dinner.

Additional places on some of the tours have been added but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
