Workers compensation: Unions NSW wants more benefits, not cuts to premiums

Unions NSW is calling on the NSW Government to return the entire $2.6 billion surplus of the workers compensation scheme in the form of increased benefits for injured workers. This follows an announcement yesterday by NSW Minister for Finance and Services Dominic Perrottet, which foreshadowed further cuts to premiums if the scheme continued to run large surpluses.
