Reminder: request for judges for national equity moot at UNSW

24/03/2015

The Ashurst Australian Private Law Moot (formerly the UNSW Private Law Moot) is a new national mooting competition, now in its second year, being held at UNSW from 10–12 April 2015. The problem question is aimed at students in the latter stages of their degree who have a strong interest in advocacy, and this year's problem focuses on issues in equity.

The convenors are grateful to barristers who acted as judges in the competition in 2014, and are once again requesting the assistance of barristers to act as judges in the preliminary rounds on 10 – 11 April. The moots will run for between 90 minutes and two hours, and a detailed judging guide will be provided to assist you. The grand final will be judged by an esteemed panel, including members of the NSW Court of Appeal.

Your time would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested, please contact Lyndon Goddard and Rohit Sud, the competition convenors, with your time availabilities at: privatelawmoot@unswlawsoc.org
