Bar Association prizes awarded at Macquarie Law School

The Macquarie University Law School held its prize night yesterday evening. Sue Kluss of Maurice Byers Chambers addressed the 2014 graduation class. Kluss was part of the first graduating class of Macquarie Law School in 1980, known as "the Originals". Kluss spoke of her experiences as a working mother in the law and particularly at the NSW Bar.

The junior vice-president of the New South Wales Bar Association, Arthur Moses SC, presented prize recipients with awards in four categories which are sponsored by the Bar Association:

  • Dispute management and resolution

  • Indigenous peoples and the law

  • The Jessop International Law Moot

  • Remedies, reparations and resolutions in law
