Privacy Act 1988 Update

A year has passed since the provisions of the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 came into effect. To mark this occasion, the Privacy Law Committee of the Law Council's Business Law Section will host a seminar to examine the significant changes implemented by the new regime and trends in the enforcement of privacy and data protection regulation. The seminar will take place on Friday, 24 April 2015 between 1.00-2.00pm at Level 10, 50 Martin Place, Sydney. The cost is $25. Learn more here.
