Bar FC commence the defence of its title in the Domain Soccer League

Under clear blue skies (at last) Bar FC shook off the off season cobwebs to commence its defence of its 2014 title in the DSL with a 3-1 win over Announcer FC. On a flat and well grassed pitch, Bar FC’s smooth passing clicked into gear early in the game and provided many chances for the strikers to put the game well beyond Announcer early on. A gritty performance saw Announcer claw back a goal in the second half to bring the score to 2-1 however a great individual goal by Richard di Michael, sprinting and dribbling 60 metres to finish with the outside of his foot put the game beyond the oppositions reach. A fine goal the likes of Bale, Ronaldo and Messi would be proud to call their own.
