EDO NSW 30th anniversary dinner

Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, Chief Justice French, will be the key note speaker at EDO NSW’s 30 anniversary fund raising dinner on Thursday, 25 June 2015 at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Tickets can be purchased here.

The evening will be hosted by EDO NSW Board Chair and Acting Supreme Court Judge, the Hon. Jane Mathews AO, with actor, director and writer, Jonathan Biggins, as MC.

EDO NSW is a community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law. Over the past thirty years, EDO NSW has represented community groups in landmark legal cases on coal mines, coal seam gas projects, forestry, contaminated land, coastal and urban development and threatened species.

Each year EDO NSW provides free telephone legal advice to over 1,000 individuals and community groups across the state and runs free legal education workshops to explain how the public can participate in development decisions and enforce environmental laws.
