World Bar Conference 2016

The Faculty of Advocates is pleased to announce that the World Bar Conference 2016 will be held in Edinburgh from 14-16 April 2016. This biennial event brings together the member independent bars of the International Council of Advocates and Barristers for a stimulating programme of seminars and social events to enhance the practice of referral advocacy around the world. The faculty last hosted this prestigious event in 2002, the inaugural year of the conference. WBC2016 will offer the opportunity to reflect upon the changes in practice and circumstance since, with an eye to the future of the independent bar.
