The Hon Kevin O'Leary QC has died. Mr O'Leary was called to the New South Wales Bar in 1957, but subsequently moved to the ACT. In 1974-1976 he served as president of the Law Council and in 1982 he was appointed to the bench of the NT Supreme Court. Between 1985 and 1987 he was chief justice of the Northern Territory. A funeral service will be held in Canberra at St Matthew's Catholic Church, Chewings St, Page on Friday 7 August 2015 commencing at 11.30am. Learn more here.
