Appointment to the Federal Court of Australia

Attorney-General George Brandis QC has announced the appointment of Brigitte Markovic as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia, based in the Sydney registry. Since 1988 Ms Markovic has been a solicitor at Clayton Utz and a partner at that firm since 1997. Ms Markovic will be sworn-in on 24 August 2015.
