LCA welcomes Senate report on Nauru detention centre

The Law Council of Australia has welcomed the final report by the Select Committee on the Recent Allegations relating to Conditions and Circumstances at the Regional Processing Centre in Nauru. The president of the LCA, Duncan McConnel, said the recommendations would make the processing system fairer and safer for people in detention facilities. View the LCA media release here.
