Allegiance to Australia bill gets bipartisan support from joint committee

The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security has published the Advisory Report on the Australian Citizenship Amendment (Allegiance to Australia) Bill 2015. The "bipartisan" report (no cross-benchers were on the committee) supports, subject to some minor amendments to "improve safeguards" and "accountability", the bill's passage through the federal parliament.
