Workers' comp changes begin on 16 October

Changes to the state's workers compensation scheme, announced in August by the New South Wales Government, are due to commence on 16 October. The changes include three new organisations to manage the scheme; increased lump sum and minimum weekly payments, and new financial assistance for return to work, education and retraining, as well as premium reductions for businesses.
