Election of 2017 Bar Council - Nominations have closed

Nominations for the 2017 Bar Council closed at 4.00pm today. Nominations have been received from 18 Senior Counsel and 35 members of the Junior Bar (including 7 under 5s). An acknowledgment of the Returning Officer’s receipt of the nomination has been, or will be, sent to each candidate.

If any candidate has not received an acknowledgment by 1.00pm on Tuesday, 11 October 2016, they should immediately contact Ms Georgina Stow at the Bar Association on ph 9232 4055 or email gstow@nswbar.asn.au.

Ballot papers will on posted by Friday, 14 October 2016 when the ballot opens.
