International Women's Day

On Friday, 8 March 2024, the Bar Association extends an invitation to Members of the Bar Association to join in the celebration of International Women's Day in the Bar Association’s Common Room from 4.30pm to 6.00pm. The event will be a social function and refreshments will be served.

Our celebration of International Women’s Day will reflect and include this year’s UN International Women’s Day theme: 'Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress'.

The Women Barristers Forum and Diversity and Equality Committee encourage all members, particularly women barristers, to attend and celebrate the vital role of women's empowerment within the profession and focus on the importance of equal opportunities for earning, learning, and leading.
