Today is the last day of the Month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of dawn-to-sunset fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

The Day of Eid Al-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast”, is tomorrow, 10 April 2024. Eid Al-Fitr is celebrated at the end of Ramadan – the first day of the Month of Shawwal, the 10th month in the Muslim calendar. In many Muslim countries, Eid Al-Fitr celebrations can last for up to three days.
