Following his appointment to the Industrial Court, Ingmar Taylor SC has resigned from his position on Bar Council, effective 19 April 2024. In accordance with the Bar Association's Constitution, James Emmett SC will fill the vacant position.

The casual vacancy for the position of Treasurer will be filled at the next scheduled meeting of the Bar Council on 9 May 2024.
