Senior Counsel Applications for 2024 are open

President Ruth Higgins SC invites applications for Senior Counsel for 2024. The principles governing the selection and appointment of those to be designated as senior counsel by the President of the Bar Association are contained in the 2024 Senior Counsel Selection Protocol and the 2024 Guide to Practical Aspects.

As announced in the December 2023 President’s Message, the Senior Counsel Protocol was amended for the 2024 selection process to include an additional essential criterion in Clause 7. Click here for more information.

Applications must be submitted online, no later than 5:00pm on Monday, 29 July 2024.
