John Beckwith Maston, a founding member of Nigel Bowen Chambers and former Acting Commissioner of the Land and Environment Court, died on 5 July 2024. Mr Maston practised as a solicitor until 1984 and was called to the Bar in 1985. He practised as a barrister in NSW from 1984-2014, predominantly in the Land and Environment Court of NSW, and was appointed Acting Commissioner of the Land and Environment Court in October 2014. There will be a private funeral and cremation.
