Bar FC return to its winning ways

Yesterday in cold and overcast conditions, Bar FC was victorious against JP Morgan Chase in the Domain Soccer League winning 2-0.

A bare 11 played some nice football with some passing combinations similar to tiki-taka made famous by Barcelona. Great midfield combinations were on display with Free SC and Tsang combining well with wide support from Sivanathan and Blair Jackson. The backline of Jackson Rogers, Boyle, Jonathon Dooley and Tembe worked tirelessly to ensure John Harris in goals had little to do. Up front, Hugh Morrison and Hazan demonstrated pace and were a constant threat to the opposition defence.

A 0-0 score at half time caused the senior statesmen in the team (Free SC, Harris and Sir Alex) to fire up the troops with directions regarding attack. This resulted in a one sided second half with goals by Morrison and Free SC securing the win. Indeed the Free SC goal was a 30 metre cracker from a free kick…reminiscent of Roberto Carlos or David Beckham. A pleasure to behold.
