Jacqueline Gleeson SC appointed to the Federal Court

Attorney General George Brandis QC yesterday announced the appointment of Jacqueline Gleeson SC as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia, effective today, 15 April 2014. A swearing-in ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 22 April 2014 at 9.30am in Court 1, Level 21, Queens Square. Jane Needham SC will speak on behalf of the Australian and New South Wales bar associations. Barristers should wear gowns but not wigs.
