Suppression orders and open justice in Australia and the UK

The Rule of Law Institute, together with the Centre for Independent Journalism and the Cosmopolitan Civil Societies Research Centre both at UTS are holding a one day workshop on the suppression orders and their impact on the principle of open justice. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, 4 June 2014 at Maryann House, Level 3, 645 Harris St Ultimo. Speakers include the Hon Philip Cummins, chair of the Victorian Law Reform Commission, Peter Bartlett, legal advisor to Fairfax Media and barrister Miiko Kumar. Learn more here.
