For the diary: New Frontiers of the Human Body

Justice Christian Byk of the Court of Appeals in Paris will deliver a lecture on "New Frontiers of the Human Body" on Monday, 14 July 2014 at 5.30pm in Court 1 of the Federal Court on Level 21 of the Law Courts Building. The lecture will be followed by refreshments.

Justice Christian Byk is presently a judge of the Court of Appeals in Paris, represents France at UNESCO Intergovernmental Bioethics Committee and is chair of the Ethics of Science Committee of the French Commission for UNESCO.

Justice Byk is the general editor of The International Journal of Bioethics and The Health and Society Review. His interests include: law and technology; international law and human rights; and civil liability and environmental law.
