Deceased victims of crime: giving surviving relatives their say in court

In a speech to the Local Courts of NSW annual conference today, Attorney General Brad Hazzard has said that in some cases the families of deceased victims of crime weren't given the opportunity to present a Victim Impact Statement (VIS). He said that measures would be implemented to ensure this didn't happen again. Learn more here.
