This seminar scheduled for Wednesday 23 July will be presented by Michael Pelly and chaired by Carol Webster SC. The Smiler, published earlier this year, draws on more than 100 interviews with Murray Gleeson and his family, friends and judicial colleagues, including those who sat with him on the High Court. It is an unprecedented insight into a legend of the Australian legal system. In this seminar, Michael Pelly will discuss his approach to the research and writing of The Smiler.
