Silk applications close today

President Jane Needham SC invites applications for appointment as senior counsel for 2014. The deadline is 5.00pm today. No applications received after that time will be processed. Please ensure that all completed applications are delivered to the Bar Association reception by 5.00pm.

The principles governing selection and appointment of senior counsel are set out in the Senior Counsel Protocol and the Guide to Practical Aspects of Appointment of Silk in New South Wales. Applications must include a completed application cover sheet.

It is intended the names of successful applicants will be announced on or before the first Friday in October 2014.
