Bar FC look to the finals

Bar FC dug deep today with a gritty performance to see off a youthful and skilful Sydney Business School resulting in a 0-0 draw in the Domain this afternoon.

(Capt) Harris pulled off a wonderful low save to his left to inspire his backline to greater efforts. After this, Vickers put in a man of the match performance providing a physical presence at the centre of defence, ably supported by de Meyrick, Covell and Fordham SC. Hartford Davis, d’Arville, Griscti and Maghami worked hard in midfield to stifle the play before Maghami limped off with a recurring calf muscle tear. The backline stepped up in the second half to the cry of “no shots” and made sure Harris had little to do.

A great day in the sun. We now wait for the finals draw with Bar FC looking forward to winning the silverware.
