Corrs defeat Bar FC 2-1

The dustbowl that is the Domain set the scene for Bar FC to continue its season, this time against Corrs. Two early goals by Corrs on the break meant Bar FC spent most of the match chasing the game. Denied by the woodwork and the referee's calls, Bar FC toiled hard to try and return the game to an even keel but alas, today’s efforts ended in vain. The full time whistle was blown whilst Bar FC were camped in Corrs box with a beautifully weighted cross heading to our strikers ... we were left wondering what might have been.

A few notable mentions today. Welcome to new signing Dave Winterton and welcome back Craig Bolger . Nicole Compton and Geoff O’Shea both had solid games against often faster opposition.
