For the diary: silk bows at the High Court of Australia

All new silks for 2014 will be invited to take their bows before the High Court of Australia at 3.30pm on Monday, 2 February 2015 in Courtroom 1.

The chief justice and justices of the High Court will be inviting all new silks and their families to attend a reception immediately after the ceremony. A dinner to mark the occasion will be held at 7.00pm that evening. Robing for the new silks ceremony is short or full bottomed wig, depending on the practice in your own state.
