Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research - Crime and Justice Bulletin - The impact of the Early Appropriate Guilty Plea reforms on guilty pleas, time to justice, and District Court finalisations

The Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research has today released a report and evaluation regarding the operation of the 2018 Early Appropriate Guilty Pleas reforms which indicates that the reforms have significantly increased the proportion of matters resolved by an early guilty plea.
