The NSW Bar Association’s inaugural webinar was held on Tuesday. Over forty Association members tuned in to hear panellists Ian Neil SC, David Chin SC and Christopher Parkin, the authors of the Guide to the JobKeeper Scheme: Employment in the time of COVID-19, consider the eligibility of both employers and the self-employed for the JobKeeper scheme, the effects on the regulation of the employment relationship, and the operation of the scheme in practice. The excellent seminar focused particularly on the eligibility of barristers and chambers to participate in the scheme.
