The next Experienced Barristers Lunch is on Wednesday, 12 February, from 12.00-2.00pm. The guest of honour is the Hon Murray Gleeson AC QC. Certificates marking 50 years in practice will be presented to Peter Hennessy SC and Robert Stitt QC. Tickets cost $80 per person. Seating will not be allocated, and will instead be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Purchase your tickets here.

On 20 November last year the Experienced Barristers Program held the first of its regular lunches at the Union, University and Schools Club. In a lively and collegial atmosphere, more than 80 guests celebrated 50 years of practice at the New South Wales Bar by Anthony Bellanto QC, Dennis Wheelahan QC and John Shaw.

The Experienced Barristers Program is an initiative of the Wellbeing Committee, in consultation with the Diversity and Equality Committee. Regular lunches will be held on the second Wednesday of every second month.

The Wellbeing Committee has a charter to encourage barristers to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle. We facilitate organised sporting, social and recreational activities. If you have an idea to promote wellbeing, or would like more information about our initiatives, contact the Wellbeing Committee: wellbeing@nswbar.asn.au.
