Mark Seymour SC and Sean Docker SC appointed Advocates for Change

The President of the NSW Bar Association has appointed Mark Seymour SC as an Advocate for Change for LGBTQIA+ Inclusivity and Sean Docker SC as an Advocate for Change for Accessibility for a two year period.

The Association thanks the outgoing Advocates for Change, Sharyn Hall SC and Dr Robert Dubler SC, for their service.

The purpose of the Advocates for Change program is to provide role models who are excellent practitioners and who, through the example of what they do and say in their professional lives as barristers, represent the full width of diversity and inclusion that the NSW Bar Association wishes to promote at the Bar.

As Advocates for Change, Seymour SC and Docker SC have agreed to participate in the formulation of strategies to promote equality, diversity and inclusion at the NSW Bar.

Seymour SC and Docker SC join Maria Gerace SC, Advocate for Change for Cultural Diversity, and Edward Muston SC, Advocate for Change for Gender Equality.
