The Hon Justice Susan Kiefel appointed to the High Court

Attorney-General Philip Ruddock has announced that the Hon Justice Susan Kiefel has been appointed as the next justice of the High Court of Australia. Justice Kiefel, 53, originally from Cairns, is currently a justice of the Federal Court of Australia, having been appointed to that position in 1994. View the attorney-general's media release >>
