Law Council Calls for AFP to Answer on Haneef

The Law Council is calling for answers as to whether or not AFP officers lawfully discharged their functions under the Commonwealth Crimes Act� in relation to the Mohamed Haneef case. On 2 November the Law Council wrote to AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty asking nine pertinent questions about the conduct of the AFP in the Haneef case.�The letter is now being publicly released.�The Law Council’s questions have not yet been answered.
