Web watch: The World Justice Project

The World Justice Project (WJP) is, according to its home page,�"a multinational, multidisciplinary initiative to strengthen the rule of law worldwide". It's sponsors include the American, Canadian and International bar associations. The Rule of Law Index is an attempt to measure a country's adherence to the rule of law. The organisers will apply the index to five countries (Nigeria, India, Chile and the US) prior to the World Justice Forum in July 2008. Learn more>
