Treasury review of structured settlements

The Commonwealth Department of the Treasury commissioned Alan Cameron AM to assess the effectiveness of�Division 54 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997, which�provides an income tax exemption for annuities and deferred lump sums made under structured settlements for people who have suffered a personal injury.
