Ceremonial sitting for the opening of Sydney West Trials Courts

On Monday, 31 March 2008�Judge Ellis of the Dictrict Court sat in a ceremonial sitting with�three other judges of the District Court, together with Hon Justice Whealy, to mark the inaugural sittings of the District Court in the new courthouse at Parramatta, called Sydney West Trials Courts. The District Court will be sitting�three criminal trials courts, as well as�a short matters and list court in the new building from now on. The Local Court and the Parole Board also have sittings there.
