Volunteers needed at Marrickville Legal Centre

Marrickville Legal Centre is a not-for-profit Community Legal Centre, independent of government, which provides free legal advice to members of the public.

The Centre urgently needs volunteer lawyers to provide advice about employment law and discrimination in the workplace to cope with a dramatic increase in demand in the wake of the Federal Workchoices Legislation.

Volunteer lawyers attend the Centre for a couple of hours on one evening each month from about 6:30pm to provide advice to members of the public.
