Minister releases latest valuation of WorkCover

The NSW WorkCover Scheme has a surplus of $1.2 billion and assets equal to 109 per cent of liabilities, according to results released today by the minister for industrial relations, the Hon John Della Bosca MLC.�The announcement is based on a�valuation�by PricewaterhouseCoopers of the WorkCover scheme as at 31 December 2007.
At the same time, the minister used his media release to signal measures to harmonise NSW proceedures with those in Victoria to reduce complexity and lower costs. Learn more>
