US Supreme Court decision on the Military Commissions Act

The United States Supreme Court has ruled that�a key provision of the Military Commissions Act 2006�"operates as�an unconstitutional suspension" of habeas corpus. The president of the American Bar Association, William H Neukom,�praised the decision. "Today’s ruling reaffirms the vision of our founders, and helps restore the credibility of the United States as a leading advocate and model for the rule of law across the globe", he said.
