Web watch: Australian Government launches the new Commonwealth Courts Portal

The federal attorney general has launched the Commonwealth Courts Portal, which provides web-based services for clients to access information about cases before the Family Court of Australia, the�Federal Court and the Federal Magistrates Court. According to the attorney's media release, the portal will "allow users to undertake electronic transactions such as lodging documents, submitting draft orders, requesting hearing dates and accessing future listings".
