Update on the condition of Chris Branson QC

As at Thursday 11 September Chris Branson QC remains in Intensive Care. At this point his wife Annemarie cannot indicate how much�longer he will be there. Annemarie has asked that members of the Bar�be reminded that Chris cannot receive any visitors, nor can he accept phone calls or gifts. As stated in In Brief on Monday, 8 September, Annemarie will be providing regular updates regarding Chris's condition and members of the Bar should rely on the information provided in those updates only and not upon speculation heard elsewhere.

As to Chris's condition,�Annemarie informs us that on top of his�injuries Chris has now contracted an infection which is causing some distress. We ask that members of the Bar consider Chris and Annemarie's young� children and allow them some degree of space and privacy at this extremely difficult time.
