Senior Counsel Selection Committee 2008

Paul Byrne SC will be spending a substantial amount of time overseas in the next month and is accordingly unable to complete the duties required of a member of the Senior Counsel Selection Committee. The Bar Council has approved the replacement of Mr Byrne by Mark Ierace SC, the Senior Public Defender.� He will serve on the Committee for the remainder of its service in 2008.
The Council thanked Mr Byrne for the time and effort he has put into the Committeeâs work so far this year.
