Craig Lambert and Can Too

21/03/2024

After undergoing a double knee replacement in June and just making it through the Little Big Open Water Swim at Palm Beach in January, Craig Lambert is challenging himself to swim in the South Maroubra Open Water Swim on 28 April 2024 to raise funds for cancer research and is seeking generous support of the NSW Bar.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Craig has lost two of his closest male friends to cancer in the last eighteen months, including solicitor Geoff Pike whom many at the Bar knew and loved, and is swimming in honour of them.

The Can Too Program, which Craig is participating in again, provides professionally coached training programs for participants of any fitness level to run, swim and cycle their way to a healthier lifestyle and eventually to a cancer-free world.

Members are invited to donate to the Can Too Foundation which has trained 18,000 participants since 2005 and raised over $25,000,000 to invest in over 200 one-year cancer research grants.

Philanthropy is one of the Five Ways to Wellbeing, an evidence-based approach to feeling good and functioning well. They are simple, everyday actions to contribute to a positive experience of life.
