Retention of women at the NSW Bar

While the NSW Bar is seeing higher numbers of women joining the profession than ever before, the number of women leaving the Bar remains unacceptably high.

The Women Barristers Forum (WBF) therefore invites you to join us for a panel discussion featuring her Honour Justice Jane Needham SC (Federal Court of Australia) and Michael Izzo SC (Eleven Wentworth) that addresses:

• the reasons for the low retention of women at the Bar; and
• focuses on what is needed at the Bar to create a working environment that encourages women barristers to stay at the Bar.
