8 Garfield Barwick Chambers, overlooking Martin Place, will be undergoing a million-dollar renovation to be completed 30 January 2024. Presently, there are 16 barristers on a busy floor practicing in Equity, Commercial Law, Corporations Law, Insolvency, Competition and Consumer Law, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Professional Negligence, Building and Construction, Common Law, Administrative Law, Family Law, Industrial Law and Crime.

The fit out will be extensive and will include an Online Court /Conference/Mediation room with separate breakout rooms, floor wide library and two readers rooms. Each of the current chambers will be rebuilt. The floor has an extensive physical library and online legal data base subscription.

Of the available rooms one would suit Senior and one Junior counsel.
